My Foundation Collection // Best and Worst

Hello lovely people, I hope you've all had a fabulous day! I've been so excited about Christmas, we only have a few days left of November so you know what that means...Blogmas is coming! I am going to try my absolute best to do Blogmas this year, and if you don't know what it is, don't worry i'll explain. I'm going to be posting every day throughout December up until Christmas, and all the posts will be very festive!

But anyway, seeing as there's still some time before the Christmas posts officially begin, I thought i'd go through my little foundation collection with you and tell you which ones are my favourites and which ones I won't be repurchasing.

This is my most recent purchase and honestly, it's the best foundation i've ever used. I am completely obsessed with the coverage of this foundation and how well it blends out. The coverage of this foundation is definitely full, except it provides a really glowing, almost wet look to it which prevents it from going cakey. It's been a long time since i've found a foundation which completely evens out my skin tone, covers all my freckles and blemishes and lasts all day. This is an absolute bargain so if you're looking for a full coverage, affordable foundation then look no further!

I picked this up not too long ago when I was on the hunt for a new foundation to try, and overall I was really impressed with the quality of this considering how affordable it is. I would say it's a medium to full coverage foundation, it does blend really nicely however my only concern is that it can get a little cakey around your nose area. But, I do love this foundation and if you're looking for an affordable, buildable foundation then you'll like this one.

Now, if you've read my post about my least favourite makeup products, you'll know where i'm going with this one. Overall, I'm not a fan of this foundation, mainly because I think it doesn't perform well and it's very overpriced. I find that the coverage is very weak, and it doesn't blend well at all on my face. I've tried so many methods of applying it but I just can't get it to work for me at all. I think my expectations were set quite high with this product as it's quite pricey, but overall there's so many amazing, affordable drugstore foundations out there now which perform 10x better than this one.

I thought that this foundation was nice if you're looking for a medium coverage foundation, my only concern is that I went through it really quickly. It's a really nice, lightweight formula which is easy to blend. Because it's not a matte formula, it does leave your skin with a lovely radiant glow to it which is a nice addition. I'd recommend this foundation if you're just looking for something in-between a BB cream and medium foundation.

Okay, so now it's time to rank these foundation so here it goes...

LA Girl Pro Coverage
 L'oreal Infallible Matte Foundation
Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation
Makeup Forever HD Foundation
So there you have it, my thoughts and recommendations on the current foundations in my makeup collection. I personally looove full coverage foundations which don't leave your skin too cakey. I also find that using a primer helps prevent your foundation from 'slipping' away throughout the day and makes it last so much longer.

Let me know what foundations you've been using recently and which one is your holy grail! I hope you all have an amazing rest of the week!
