How I Try To Stay Productive & Motivated // Tips & Advice

Hi lovelies, I hope you're all having a great day so far, happy Friday! Missguided had a 50% off flash sale yesterday so of course I had to take advantage of that, I'm so excited to start buying for AW17 now.

Today I thought i'd share my top tips and advice for staying productive and motivated, granted sometimes I do just love to laze around and have 'chill' days, but I always manage to get everything I need to done it's just finding that crucial balance.

On the days you're feeling productive, take full advantage of it! This takes the pressure off those days when you're feeling a little bit sluggish, or maybe not feeling too great.  For instance, if you're in the mood to take blog photos, take a few stock photos too, that way on a day when you have nothing planned and you're feeling like you don't want to take photos, you'll have some to use.

Make lots of lists, or have a planner. It's important to write down or take note of the jobs which need doing. I like to make lists for different things, so for instance, I have a cleaning list (lol) and a blogging list so I can keep track of what i've done and when, and what still needs doing. I find that having a list where you can tick things off or cross things out makes you get that little boost of productivity and encourages you do to more.

Watch or read something that inspires you. This could be watching your favourite youtuber, or reading some inspirational quotes, but I always find that by doing this I feel that little bit more motivated to do what I love.

Set yourself some goals. This could be as simple as getting out of bed and showering. By achieving these small goals you'll feel so much better in yourself, and these small achievements make a massive difference on your motivation levels. I like to split my goals up into short term goals and long term goals.

Stop making excuses and focus on your long term goals. This is something I see quite a lot of, which is quite sad, but so many people make excuses for not being able to do something. In my opinion, if you want something badly enough, you'll find a way to make it happen. Even if this means getting up a little bit earlier in the morning to do something, or spending your day off completing tasks, it all makes such a difference and you'll be one step closer to achieving your dreams.

I hope these 5 little tips have helped you out, let me know if you have any advice on staying motivated and productive! Have a lovely weekend everyone!

  1. I really need to set myself some little goals everyday, I find that I always put things off and then I forget about them x
