Heeellooo everyone, I hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas and are looking forward to embracing what 2017 has to offer us! I thought I'd share with you some of my goals for the new year, I don't usually strictly follow them usually but I feel like if I post them here then I have no excuses ... One of them is to start blogging more, as it's something I really enjoy but I have a few others too!

One of my goals is to go totally cruelty free with my make up and skin care products. I feel like this is something I feel really strongly about, I am really against animal testing and what animals have to go through just so that brands can get their products on the market so what better way to support my views than by putting them into place! This is going to be a slow process as I can't afford to buy all new stuff, but luckily most of the products I have are already from cruelty free brands so hopefully by next December I won't own a single product which has been tested on animals! Yay!

Okay so this one is quite important and I REALLY need to stick to it! This term at uni I have really struggled in prioritising my workload and getting assignments done with plenty of time to spare, in other words, I have handed in pretty crappy assignments because I've left them until the last week, which isn't good at all. So, this year I'm going to start my assignments and revision early and make sure I have enough time in case I need any help or support and hopefully, get better grades!

This is something which is also very important. Often I find myself complaining over trivial things, things which really, I shouldn't be complaining about at all. I know everyone is different and our individual struggles are just as important as other peoples, however I really want to be more positive and thoughtful, especially with all the horrific things people around the world are going through. So, in other words, less complaining and more grateful thoughts

Well I wonder how many people have got this on their 2017 goals list! Actually, the last half of 2016 I have been really healthy. I started going to the gym, loving my body more, eating healthier and I lost a stone! So, in 2017 I want to carry on with my healthy routine and keep it up, because I really enjoy feeling more energised, strong and just happier with the way my body is changing. This isn't necessarily a 'I want to lose weight' goal, because it's not, it's about being in a place where I am confident, healthy and happy!

I hope you all have a truly wonderful New Year! Have you set yourself any goals for 2017?! I'd love to hear them x
