An Adventure in Leeds

Hello everyone! I've had such a nice few days away in Leeds, It was a last minute trip with my boyfriend so it was low budget but I did manage to squeeze in some treats for myself as the shopping there is incredible! I'm seriously jealous of anyone who lives there although I know for sure my bank account would suffer. We also went to this amazing Everyman cinema which had cute sofas instead of normal chairs, it was a change because we never really go to the cinema on dates and this was perfect!

Some of these bits I actually got just before I went to Leeds, I went into superdrug because I'm trying to top up my make up as I'm starting to run out of bits and pieces *cry*.

I paid £4.00 in store for this eye shadow palette and I can honestly say it's such good value for money, the pigments are super good considering the price. The brush it comes with is very basic but I use my own Real Techniques brushes for blending. There's lots of different palettes with various shades but I liked this one best because of all the pinky summer tones.

I was lusting over everything at the NYX counter in Boots and I desperately needed some new primer as I ran out of mine on the last day that I was away. I haven't used this one yet but I'm super excited to as my face has been quite red recently so hopefully this will reduce that!

I actually bought this in the marshallow pink shade however I seem to have misplaced it (oops!). This one was £2.99 from Superdrug and is called 'Pumpkin Pie'. Its super easy to apply and very pigmented, however, it really doesn't last too long and you have to keep topping it up throughout the day and if you're a bit lazy like it's quite annoying having to do it so often. However, the price is amazing for the amount of product you get so I can't complain!

I needed a new liquid liner so badly so I found this one which is the Loreal Super Liner perfect slim in Black. It's part of the festival ready range which is exclusive to Superdrug. It cost £6.99 and it's a soft pen tip which is great because it's so slim you can go for a thin line but then build it up however thick you like it! I personally find the pens best to use because I can have more control.

Finally my last make up/ beauty thing I purchased was the Bath Latte from the Zoella Sweet Inspirations range! I was super excited when this range was released because 1, I love Zoella and 2, everything looks so beautiful! The packaging for everything is simply beautiful and everything looks and smells amazing! I wanted to buy a bit more from this range but as I was on a budget I have to wait to get a few more bits. This smells incredible (I've already used it!) and you only need a small amount of product and it goes a long way. I tipped this in my bath and it created literally the perfect bubble bath, you can also use it as a body wash so double the use! You get so much product for £6 so it's well worth it!

I found this amazing jewellery shop in Leeds called Lovisa and it seriously had EVERYTHING, I could have bought the whole shop but I settled for this set of beautiful rose gold, pearl and diamond earrings. It has such a good selection which complement each other which is good because I have two ear piercings. They cost £7.99 which I thought was very reasonable. I've already worn two pairs and they're super comfortable too.

I can never resist Lush! I'm such a sucker for all of their products. There is a Lush where I live but I enjoy going in the shop wherever I go. I picked up the Intergalactic bath bomb for £3.95, the MMMelting marshmallow moment bath oil which was £2.00, and finally the Rose Jam bubble bar for £3.75. I'm always satisfied with everything from Lush, It's my first time trying these particular products but I'm super excited! They al look so pretty.

Finally I got this amazing dress from Zara for £29.99. I really love Zara products and find them excellent quality for the price, I've bought several things from there and I've loved them all. This particular dress is perfect for Summer and I love the off-shoulder style. Another amazing thing about this dress is that underneath it's a playsuit style and the dress is smock-like. with two splits up the side so you can see the shorts. I've never seen anything like it in another store and its such a beautiful fit so I couldn't resist!

I hope you're all having a wonderful day and enjoyed my little haul! X
